Soft pastels are my medium of choice.   I use these brilliant sticks of pure pigment to create paintings of the natural beauty in Michigan's Thumb area.  I am an avid plein air painter, working on site to capture the scene before me.  My work is also done in my home studio, from photos I have taken, or from memories of favorite places.  I hope you enjoy browsing these pages, whether to just enjoy the art or to choose a piece for your home.
